Increase/ decrease my electricity supply
If you are carrying out changes to your home or small business and you need to upgrade your electricity supply we can help you with this. You may want to check first if you do need more power and this is known as a load check. If we need to increase your power, this is usually free of charge up to 60-100amps (a max of 23kVA). Don't worry our team will guide you every step of the way.
Why would I increase/ decrease my power?
- Installing an electric vehicle charger (installers should contact us on your behalf)
- Installing a heat pump
- Installing a jacuzzi or hot tub
- An electrician has recommended an increase in power
- Demolishing part of a property

Divert my electricity supply
You may need us to divert our overhead or underground electricity cable that supplies your home or business if you are carrying out a project.
Why would I divert my electricity supply?
- The electricity cable is in the way of building work such as an extension.
- Renovation works
- Demolishing part of a property

Disconnect my electricity cable
You may need us to permanently disconnect your home or business that no longer needs an electricity supply.
It may be better to temporarily turn off your power, this is known as ‘de-energising’ if it is to remain in use. This can be done for a maximum of 72 hours.

Put protective covers on a overhead cable (shrouding)
Need to carry out work at your home or business but our overhead power lines are getting in the way? We may be able to help by installing a temporary cover which is also known as shrouding.
These covers will make sure it is safe for you to complete your work.

Change my cut out fuse
Over time, your fuse (also known as fuse carrier, fuse holder, or cut out) may experience wear and tear or get damaged and may require an update. Our team can replace this with an identical one for you, free of charge.
Why would I need to change my cut out fuse?
- The fuse holder is old and worn
- Damaged fuse holder
- An electrician has requested your fuse holder be inspected
- There is a leak (dry bitumen leak)
